    I had to go to the emergency room today...

    Just got home a little bit ago.

    I was putting our new grill together and somehow drove the heatshield into my flesh. It went into my hand in the webbing between the ring and pinky finger and tore up through the top of my hand. I bled all over the place. With the flesh flap flipped back, you could see how the bones and tendons in my hand worked together. They hospital staff turn turns coming into my room to check it out.

    Sorry I didn't get any pics before getting it put back together. And since it was my right hand, it took me about 10 minutes to type this.

                          They put about 10 stitches where the skin flexes the most and actually glued some of it.

                          What was really cool was when they cleaned it out after numbing my hand. A foamy soap and a sponge on the raw flesh to clean out any clotting. Then they let it bleed real good before doing a final rinse.

                          Probably not as bad as it sounds, but I've never seen the inside of my hand before. It was awesome. Never really hurt though.
