Most of my friends have born with a silver spoon up their asses, and they envy me for my cool job. Yet, they don't make the effort to try it themselves. They rather have crappy warehouse jobs now that daddy doesn't pay for their jaguars anymore.

what comes into play is that they really dont fathom its a multi-billion dollar a year industry, plus they think its dirty money so to speak.

I am right behind you man. I say to those people, "just cause you ruined your life, dont take it out on me". Nothing makes me laugh harder than someone I see married before the age of 25. Fucking suckers. You committed suicide.

People are jealous. We sleep in as long as we want, we dont have wives and kids dragging us down like financial anchors and slowly sucking our will to live from our souls, we dont have a boss telling us what to do.

The ONLY bad thing I begin to realize about getting older, 30+, is that the pool of available women is grim and is just getting grimmer. And if they are single and my age, they got kids. So that leaves me with single moms or younger women. Nothing infuriates me more than talking to a woman younger than 25 for the most part, or children.

I will be the next Unabomber. One day I will just get fed up and move into the mountains. I used to thnk to myself, "why would someone move into a shack in the mountains and shun society, esp someone as brilliant as Ted is". Ohhh how blind I was in my youth. His lifestyle gets more attractive by the day.

But I would like to live close enough so I could ride my bike into town to catch a some shows every once and awhile.

I've been living that kind of lifestyle for so long, I can't imagine having a real job, family, kiddies running around.

i see people 5 or 6 years younger than me (i'm 30 yrs old) doing just that, and i just shake my head. all that struggle. all those 25 year mortages. no fucking thanks.

someone mentioned sleeping in - there is no way in hell i could stay on a fixed time schedule. i have serious trouble getting up on time to make it to the bank before it closes, or to catch a plane (to go on a vacation no less).

i could go on and on...

yeah i just got this said to me this weekend by my sister. i know she is jealous. she is working 12 hours a day at some shitty secuirty guard job and starbucks after going to univeristy for 4 years. while i just sit at home and work a few hours a day. she says no woman will marry me. haha, i said, why would i want to get married anyways?

work smarter, not harder i tell her.

tho i only get that from my family, most of my friends envy what i do. especially in the old days when the cash was really coming in.

Well, I think everyone has different reasons for working in porn. but most of us do it becasue its good money, sleep in, work at anytime of day, answer only to yourself.

I'm a little different than most of you. I do this to support my daughter and myself. I have gotten a few comments about what am I going to tell people, what am I going to tell my daughter. I cringe at the thought of going back to work fulltime. My daughter goes to daycare for a few hours each day while I work and when she is older I will work while she is at school. I was working fulltime outside my home before and it was far too stressful. Killed me sending my daughter to daycare for over 8 hours a day, eating quick meals made in 10 minutes and only have a couple hours a day to spend with my daughter.

I only wish I had started doing this 10 years ago. I don't want to live for a job or working. So many people their jobs are their life. Which is so wrong. and it will take them til they are retired old people to see they made the wrong decision.

All I can tell you guys is if people are telling you to get a job you're not making enough money. When I started doing this more than 7 years ago the girl I was living with at the time told me to get a job, I said 'you get a fuckin job'. We broke up and lost contact up until 6 months ago and she came over and saw my $800,000 house and my new paid for vette. She sure the hell wasnt suggesting I get a job now, but she sure was being nicer than she's ever been.

You always run into talk from the neighbors more than anything. In this one neighborhood we lived in our next door neighbor was the super nosey type. She saw my 2 black benz's with tinted out windows, that I never seemed to work at a job, my wife was always shopping, etc. and started spreading rumors to all the other neighbors that I was in the mafia.

Ive been accused by several people of selling drugs.

I also shake my head at all the 18 to 20 year olds getting in college and talking about how much money they are going to have when they get their job as journalist, nurse, etc. They will open their eyes real quick when life slaps them in the head and they find out their $30,000.00 to $60,000.00 a year jobs don't buy shit when they don't live with mommy.

The thing I laugh at the most is when people around here talk about their "good" job. A "good" job in my city is anywhere from $10 per hour to $20 per hour. $400 a fucking week! I couldn't afford what little I have on $400 a fucking week! I can scrape up $400 in a day just hustling some shit locally or playing poker. Couldn't imagine having to survive off it.

People that say you are a loser for making money with porn or living the lifestyle it has, obviously speak out of ignorance, because they just aren't aware of how easy and good it can be. Which is a good thing... if everyone knew how much money there actually is and had enough ambition to do it, it would cut into all of our incomes.

I didn't graduate high school or go to college, but I am just happy to have income, period. No matter how I earn it. Which is more than can be saidby a lot of the people wasting 4-8 years of their life in college, to become a paper pusher and/or unemployed. I think it's funny how a lot of kids 4 years ago started going to school for "web design" and things along that line and now they've graduated and the industry is wall to wall saturation.

I'm grateful that a lot of people still have that motivation to become doctors, lawyers and grocery store managers, because those are all jobs someone has to do, but I wouldn't ever want to do.

I'm 23, I don't have any kids and I make more money than most people I know. Even though no one offline, not even family knows what I do. They just know, I have a lot of computers and when asked, I reply with "Internet marketing". 'Nuf said

Porn just happens to be where the money is. If something else comes along, that's just as profitable, I'll promote that as well.

i've kinda tried to explain it to her, but she didn't want to listen. so, it will be amusing to find the harsh chill reality provides.

except the fact when she's done with college, daddy is still going to pay for her. he's already told he he'd get her an apartment.

i wonder how long she'll live on his tab, after graduating and realizing she should have been looking for a job the last 2 years, and it takes her 3 years to land a "good job".

Even though I am involved with a lot of offline business locally, people I know only seem to remember the "porn", which is only part of my income. Everywhere I go in my town, people point me out as the "porn king" lol... fuck all I do is make AVS sites, lol.

When I meet someone new, I don't say porn, i say "Internet Advertising". And like 99% of people will follow up with "porn?" lol. It's just so surprising how word spreads so fucking fast. You start off telling a few people you make porn sites and like a year later, everywhere you go people point you out as the "porn king" or "porno man". I even get girls that come up to me and ask if they can be "on my website" lol. I don't produce my own content, but I might in a few years.
