If you keep getting a shitload, just filter out the messages based on the subject line, that is basically all you can do.

So people will be getting E-mails that contain a virus that they think is from me...and there is no way to prevent this????

heh.

i get hundreds of those per day. returned emails from email gateways - invalid accounts, mailbox full, virus messages telling me my emails were denied, it's sad. i've filtered all i can possibly do without losing possible legit emails

Your computer doesnt have to be infected. Any computer that has your email in its address book can be infected. Then it will fake the from email address and try to infect more people.

The majority of the people on the internet are experiencing the same thing, so I wouldn't worry. Eventually people will get their shit patched and it will stop.
