It's nice to see SEO's at each other's throats like content spammers... errr... providers.

        Mommy would be proud.

how much can you bring in from google a day to a TGP?

simple question. can you answer it?
I can make you #1 on google and I will do it free of charge, no strings attached. Gimme a sec.....

hum de dum de dum de dum....

Ok all done!! You are now in the #1 spot on google for the search terms sleazy dream and sleazy dream chatroom . As a free bonus I have also made you #1 on Yahoo. As I was humming that last dee dum I made your porno archives #1 on google for the word pornno , because remember, pornno is spelled with TWO "nn"s.

Now you can check your logs and answer your own question. My guess is ~800 uniques per day. I can make anyone #1 in google and fart the theme song to Green Acres at the same time. The traffic you get will be determined by the search phrase you choose.

How hard would it be for you "google gods" to get a #1 rank starting from scratch for a search term that has 3.5 million results?

you still can get high ranks on very popular domains by starting from 0, but NOBODY can gurantee that.

Why shoot so low? Why not chose a real juicey word that has 68 million results or since it's a challenge for the google gods, why not shoot for a word with 144 million results? Those would be toughies.

If any google gods happen to wander by they'll tell you a month for a typical ~3million sex phrase, depending on what it is and who's already got it. Some words you just can't have the #1 spot, like "lesbian".

I have a question for the tgp gods - starting from scratch, how long would it take my brand new tgp to get a link exchange with each of the tgps on SleazyDreams home page? I'm just starting out so that would be a really big help.

Often they have a ton of what they CONSIDER to be good reasons but when it all boils down they would be doing it for themsleves if they were any good and not for others.

Haha there's no way in hell I'll EVER mention the sites we have.
It'll just get us reported to google, or copied.

People who pay others for their SE work need to rethink their strategy that's for sure.

Best thing about this thread is where the guy pulls a keyword out he's number1 for as being a 'success' story. Just about anyone with half a clue that has been in this business longer than 5 mins can pull several no1 or good top10 keywords from server logs that are there through luck rather than targetting. Those who do target and have half a clue certainly can.

As had been said the ONLY real proof that you can do what you claim would be posted results for a difficult term that was requested by the client. But then surprise surprise you are unable to do that.

                                          Entertaining thread though.

Oh...on the pr thing that this was meant to be out. PR plays a part and can sometimes help hugely for some of the more competative terms but remains only a small part of the equation. However it is still part of the equation. As someone said one of the most useful things about it is simply the regular robot visits.
                                          Ignorance is never bliss.

Yep. Mind you optimised properly the pr6 site will usually be able to at least emulate the pr0 site for hits and usually better it. Of course that's al just IMO stuff but wtf - works for me.

I would rather have a pr 0 site bringing in 500 google targetted keyword hits per day than a pr 6 site getting 50 hits a day
Bingo, at the end of the day, it comes down to traffic not PR. I spent several months becoming PR obsessed and at the end of it, traffic fluctuations were not that different, so screw the PR, I'm going after the hits.
