You don't mention who owns the content on the galleries, if it is sponsor content then that might be ok otherwise we might have to pay to buy the sets (so that means less then $201) otherwise we have to 404 the galleries and if we get banned anywhere for 404s then you just wasted $8.88.

The one site gets some traffic but it doesn't appear to get much search engine traffic (Yahoo/Google)

As far as InvisionBoard, as far as I know, you cannot host it elsewhere without paying a fee to use it, and if you're going to do that, you might as well buy a copy. It was a way to get it done with a low investment. Someone who has the money to invest can purchase the copy if they want and do what they wish. What the cost on that is from is the design. That forum is completely customized. Not really a small task. If someone wanted to change the domain name to it or change the logo, it's not that hard, but all the little extras make it worth more than 200$ IMO.

Where the price goes up on is the amount of traffic (though small) but mostly design.

If you pay $149.00 for Ultrathumbs, you don't get a full TGP, you just get the prog. Plus the fact that it has submitters, a prescence and links to it out there, it's already in operation with a little over 20k links in the DB. Again, the design.

I really don't think that $1,000, let alone $750 dollars is that much of a loss to the "big players" on here with the amount of stuff all in one. Some traff, SE submission (which I think is great considering it's going strictly off keywords and no hard links to other high-PR'ed sites), previous branding and a small collection of bookmarkers.

With someone who knew what the fuck they're doing, these could prove very valuable.
