    What's the deal with google pagerank?

    hi.

    got an mgp site, about 1 month old... i check my google page rank today using the google bar and it's ranked 5/10

    i see (in this board and others) ppl looking to trade with pr1 or pr2 or pr whatever sites only...

    what's the deal with that? so what if a site as a high google page rank? it means shit... dosen't it?

    hope you can clear this for me

          higher pagerank = higher position in google

                      Pagerank is extremely helpfull if you know how to harness it's power with your on-page content. Generally pagerank is a multiplier of on-page content which can and does deliver higher rankings. Good on-page-content * PR = better google results.

                          PR is only one criteria among many to get good SE placement... of course you could try to get PR from expired domains but latest 1 months after you buy them the PR is gone...
