My girlfriend tells me every morning that I SHOULD shave! She says if I don't shave I rub her inner thighs raw when I go down on her! I HAVE to shave! Do you blame me?

My little boy likes rubbing my face when I don't shave, though. Maybe you have a point about not shaving...

But on a serious note: shaving by big companies is one reason why everyone should only push affiliates who use CCBill, like ME!

Using CCBill does NOT eliminate the possibility of "shaving". I wish you guys would stop using that as a selling point, it's VERY misleading...

Using CCBill the way *I* use it eliminates the possibility of shaving. I don't have my own custom written program that ties into CCBill.... I use CCBill's system the way it was written.... directly through them.

Please tell me how it's possible to 'shave' this way....

It doesn't matter how YOU use it. You don't need custom written software to shave. It's very simple. "Shaving" has a very broad definition. Everything from traffic leaks to placing a stop on recurring members.

If I remember correctly, CCBill gives you the option to stop affiliate payments on a recurring member after a set time period which you define. Now I don't have any problem at all with this feature because it can be used in many legitimate ways. However, the wrong affiliate program manager gets a hold of it and we'll have the next Gillette factory.

Shaving lies within the program operators. If you want to eliminate shaving, or at least know the degree of shaving, you either need to KNOW the program operator well or run your own ship.

And just for the record, I'm not accusing you of shaving...

That's true Sly... but I think for the most part if they are using straight CCbill ref links - they will have a near impossible time shaving any traffic.
Now if they apply their OWN referral link and use CCBill and forward from their own link, it is quite easy to shave.

So - that's why most trust CCBill more.

I'd never do that to affiliates. I guess it is a trust issue, just as Sly said.

Why do you think it is any harder to shave when using ccbill's link code vs anything else?

It's all about trust, either you trust that they do or they don't and not matter who they process with it can be done just as easily.

The only thing that matters is what per click you get for each program. (If you aren't tracking your out hits then you have no idea what you could be giving up)
