I have some projects in my head and shit, and wanted to get some basic photgraphy knowledge and shit.... Now i dont expect to be a DeanCapture or Aaron M but you think it will be beneficial or should i just take photos an mess around till i get the hang of it?

If you dont know shit about taking pics with a manual camera id say take the course.
I took one late last year for fun and it was pretty cool.
I have 1 movie camera and another digicam but had never used a manual one Or even understood what all the adjustments were.
The class was pretty cool and I have a good eye but without the basic knowledge of operating a manual cam its all useless.
On top of that they will prolly teach some more cool shit like the use of filters, different types of lenses and you will prolly end going through the development stage in the dark room.
come to think of it was an awesome class...
Plus if you did it in some college you get to hit on the artsy hoes...and who knows you may end picking up a few prospects for your newfound "ideas"..

Its a great idea. I know a decent photography background has helped me a lot.
I've spoken to well known content producers who don't have even basic photography skills like knowing the relationship between an f-stop and depth of field, that's spooky.
