I don't know BT, I have a bad feeling either about "fabian" might be the problem, or that tropical wave developing off of Africe, but in any case, I'm making a run to Costco to stock up now, (and buy a bunch of extra lines from Boat US!)

One thing I miss about the mid-west is the storms. We had tornado season from April to September, it was great!

We are just now entereing the hurrican shit, whatcha' talking about BT, you must not be from Fla all your life, huh?

That cane is going to turn to the North and Miss Fla, prolly will be a caroline cane like always.

Florida tends to get hit from Gulf side, in last 100 years like 10 storms have come in from Atlantic, so the odds are not with Atlantic storms.

All that news talk is for ratings and drama. Go look at the cane history, we ain't getting hit from the Atlantic side for some time.

The cane will feel the ridge from the high pressure bubble if it remains in place and will turn North and fllow the ridge which is off the coast of Fla which will keep it from us.

Actually, if that African tropical wave does come at us, my sister is a regional sales manager at the Fountainblue Hilton in South Beach. They allow high level staff (and their friends) to stay in the hotel if a hurricaine hits the area. Last time they parked all the cars on the highest level of the multistory parking, (to keep them from being flooded) and had a big old party in one of the internal suites.... all booze on Hilton!!

Actually, being on the the fifth floor of a 10 story hotel, (in an internal room), is MUCH safer than being in a house at sea-level or at the top of a high-rise. They only allow a small amount of high-level management and a small number of their guests to stay.....like 40 or 50 people, (in a 1200 room hotel)
