    Best Stand Up Comedian?

    After all these years, besides myself I have to say the funniest stand up comedian ever was Sam Kinison.

    He was sooo funny and outrageous it's like stand-up died when he did.

    Yeah there's some funny, gross out guys out there but nothing like Sam.

    Prior to him it would be Richard Pryor. Pryor followed Lenny Bruce.

    Yet Kinison took the cake.

                              Bill Hicks, Lenny Bruce, early George Carlin, Sarah Silverman, Jerry Seinfield, Dave Chappelle, and David Cross.

                                  I like Kinison, Pryor as well.

                                  Steve Martin was pretty funny in the beginning, a little goofy but fun.

                                  As for Lenny Bruce. I don't know. He's the cool name to drop when speaking of comedians.

                                  Comedians have him to thank for opening up so much for them in the ways of free speech, but I honestly don't find him all that funny.

                                  Witty, but not really knee slapping funny.

                                  I really enjoy listening watching Dennis Miller and Chris Rock.

                                                      Id say Kineson too. Chris Rock is really funny, but then when he gets into the racial stuff I loose interest. Carlin is also really funny but as he has aged he has become a real bitter liberal and some of the thing he says get old.

                                                                      Go watch the movie "Lenny" with Dustin Hoffman, he reinacts some of Lenny's stand-up. It's really good, so I don't know what you all are talking about.


                                                                      Also a guy I missed on my list is Stephen Lynch. He doesn't really do stand-up he does music, but it's some of the funniest shit out there right now.
