The burden of proof always lays on the believers, as I suppose it should. However, whenever this argument comes up I use the example of fire breathing dragons. I don't believe in fire breathing dragons, but I can't prove that there isn't any. How can one prove that something doesn't exisit? There are new species of insects, fish, etc discovered all the time... yet the week before they were discovered, it was impossible to prove they did, or did not exisit.
