Where did most jurisprudential (LEGAL) systems arise from ...
you guessed it.... RELIGION.
Although there maybe some dogmatic reverberations of religion (eg. Catholicism and poverty) on the whole, religion forms the moral bedrock where a health respect for rule of law can spring from.

Another quick history lesson. The majority of key points presented in most Christian religions can be traced back to other religions that pre-date Christianity by thousands of years. Christianity is like a melting pot of numerous religions.
Personally, I don't believe in God. However I think having faith can be a very good thing. As you stated, it does provide a moral backbone for some, and it gives a lot of people a reason to have hope and a reason to get up in the morning. However, I also believe that religion can be extremely dangerous when the words of other people are taken to be the unquestionale truth when they are said in the name of "God". Some so called "Pro-Lifers" murder doctors in the name of religion. But, some missionaries work with the poor in the name of religion as well. Just like anything else, there are positive and negative sides. It just varies from person to person.
Also, ending your post with "Prove me wrong, fucktards!

" is part of what discredits anything you have to say on the topic, as well as helping to give so called "religious" people in general a bad name.
