    FUCK!!! I just lost everything on my HD

    stupid piece of SHIT!!!

    my pc reboots by itself then there is nothing left on the fucking c:\ drive!!! thank god my mp3s on my f:\ drive are left intact...

    I lost everything god damnit!!! I knew I shoulda kept a backup of my important shit (a 2nd time...)

    my HD just shows as empty and "unknown" kind of partition...
    20 gigs of fucking important shit down the drain

    I just feel fucking bad right now

      Yeah well welcome to life, you just got hit by the msblast.exe worm. That's the same worm that blew up my drive. There IS software you can use to recover your drive, but you will need to have another drive to use as the master and you need to make it a slave drive. Get in touch with me if you want more info.                                                   All HDs crash sooner or later, so always keep backups of all your important stuff. HD space is dirt cheap anyhow.

                                                  Maybe this isn't what you wanted to hear right now but for everyone else Not keeping backups, get on the case now.

                                                  Maybe one of thoose external USB2/Firewire 250 GB HDs ...

                                                      Don't wont viruses stay off the internet, don't turn on the pc...
                                                      But shit happens, I sorta feel for ya.. haven't had a HD failure yet and make backups of all the important shit weekly...

                                                      It may seem like a waste of time but when that shit happens you'll be glad you did..

                                                      Jeez... I'd cry if i lost my 200gb and 120gb :S

                                                                      i had the same previous incident, stupid staff of mine deleted all the partitions. i usually create a separate partition where i save my impt. files. i wasnt able to retrieve my files even using popular recovery softwares... i should have used a filling cabinet. haha

                                                                      Moral of the Story? Try to back up files to another HD
