I am personally of the opinion that you cannot make a turn key affiliate script, because it needs to be custom for individual people. It has take me a year to get my affiliate software properly developed, and it's perpetually in flux.

I would say:

Fraud prevention tools, including a calculation of the profit per user (Total income - total payout = profit/loss), sorted by date

View details of affiliate's active/recurring members, their average conversion ratio, fraud notification for conversions that are too low or too high (Perhaps be able to query all affiliates by this)

View where each affiliate's referrals go on the site, and how many actually enter the site (More fraud prevention stuff, which is very important per sign up)

Integrated paysite members maintenance area, script driven so you can add content without having to actually edit HTML

Obviously, easily add new sites

Manage promotional material in a concise and easy to use manner

Script driven hosted gallery maker

Full content maintenance script, including releasing free content sets to affiliates

Integrated email system to mail members and affiliates, mailing members with pre-populated fields such as their name, location, etc (Dynamic message bodies)

Easy to manage exit scheme script with the ability to pay affiliates on exits if desired

Other obvious things that should come standard with any affiliate script (revshare/per sign up options integrated with billing processor, etc, etc)

Hmmm... You just listed features already in MPA2 - Good deal.

PS. The only thing not in MPA2 of the things you mentioned is the content maintenance script. That is already developed as a side product. We didnt think that should be a part of an affiliate program but a separate product.

So in essence MPA2s turnkey solution will work for 90% of webmasters, and for the remaining 10% we will customize it to work with the features they want added.
