The article doesn't state the real reason the game was lost... they were forced to use an American-made basketball.
If they had been given a chance to play with a Canadian-made basketball, made out of genuine Saskatchewan sealskin bindings, there would have been a different outcome.
Also, the players were still upset by the fact that the black chick was voted off Canadian Idol.Comment
