After 9/11 - do you Americans feel comfortable in your homes? Do you ever look up and wonder if the plane you're looking at or skyrise in front of you is going to blow up?
Did it create a sense of fear and paranoia about you that otherwise would not have existed?
Do you now look at people of other race/culture and see them as threats to you, and/or your family? Do you look at someone and say to yourself "Damned -insert slur here-"?
I am curious. I know in Canada some people let it get to them. But for the most part we all know nothing would happen up here. They would attack the US first.
I know for the first little while though I refused to travel to the US out of complete and total fear of more action - and tension between people in the US.
Is this an ongoing thing or has everyone forgotten about this and moved on?
What are your thoughts on this subject?
