I had a girlfriend that was a hair stylist. She had this one guy friend Juan who worked at her salon who she said was gay, but she was always hanging out a lot with him when we weren't together. I never felt threatened cause the guy sure did act gay and seemed gay.
Anyway, one night when we were supposed to go out she said she wasn't feeling up to it and it just sounded like BS to the way she was saying it. So I go over to her apartment and I see this guy Juan's car parked next to hers. Hmmm, do tell. Anyway, I said fuck it and went clubbing. On my way home it was about 4 AM and I cruise by once again and the guys car is still parked there and I could see the lights were out in the apartment.
Anyway, turns out she was banging Juan on the side and he wasn't really gay afterall.

Well, it's the girl that keeps them around to begin with. I'm sure the boyfriend doesn't say on a friday:"Hey honey let's have your friend Peter over, you know the guy that's always drooling over your ass when you have your back turned, but only wants to be friends with you. I miss his predatory glare on your body."

i have mostly guy friends...who are my friends cause they dont have sexual intentions towards me. My hubby has good girlfriends ..so the same goes for him...
I was just talking with the Ex woman for like 2 hours... Sure enough I brought up this exact topic.... She stuck to her guns about "plutonic friends" yeah yeah.. Later in the conversation she mentioned how one of her Plutonic Friendshas shown "interest" in her now that she's single... So a real life example of what alot of guys were saying in this thread..
Took me a while to get it out of her on who exactly it was, but now that I know, He's going to be my bitch in about 10 days when we are both back in school...
This dude just irritates me, even before I knew it was him, I always knew there was something slimy about this "friend" and sure enough, I was right.

It's quite easy to hate guys that are of the vulture type, but I doubt any guy here isn't guilty of at least thinking about banging one of his friends' gf. And using any tactic available to achieve this end if he decided to go through with it.
We're all competitors in this great game, self-interest is the absolute most dominant human trait. I can only imagine how many countless friendships and relationships have broken down because of it.
But this guy does sound like an ass Pipecrew, so I suggest you deliver what he's had coming.

I hear ya, It just bothers me that I use to get accused all the time of "cheating" and I was never doing anything, I was 100% loyal etc... And this dirtball friend is a huge cheater, well known to everyone.... So its just sorta weird.. I guess they'd go good together if anything ever happened haha.. Karma will be a biaaaaaatch.

Relationships are about trust, if there is none, there is no relationship, its just a fuck-buddy. Thats probably what 90% of you insecure guys are in it for anyway.
Grow up and realize that when you really find the girl for life, you won't worry about this kinda shit anymore. Everyone has and needs friends...
I couldn't agree with this more. With my past girlfriend it wasn't me worrying who she might meet, it was her worrying about if I might meet someone better.
When a girl is into you, and of course you show her proper reciprocity, it doesn't matter how many friends she has and what sex they are, but that she'll remain loyal to you. Of course, I'm talking about reliable, loyal girlfriends not those sluts who flirt with other guys while you step out of the room.
I could care less what my girl is doing when I'm out with guys.
However, if I would've become insecure, then I'm sure things would've been very different.
I had a friend who met a girl and was worried that on days she was "busy" (with school, work), she might be fucking other guys. I told him, she should worrying if you don't fuck other girls, not the other way around. Needless to say they're not together anymore.
I believe in Platonic friendships because if not a lot of people whom I consider to be good friends have bad intentions.
But a word to the already wise.... if you like a girl do not turn her into a friend and then surprise her with your feelings. That is usually how these friendships get all buggered up!
