Not trying to be rude, you do great work but i have a feeling lately that everybody thinks that the better the gallery looks the better it converts. Im no tgp guru but i doubt that galleries like that will get better click throughs or better conversion than http://www.teenportals.com/tgp/teen/iteens/ for example.
To me it just looks like extra load time and extra bw.
Maybe im wrong tho. -
Nah you're totally right. His gallery looks very nice, and in a perfect world (everyone on broadband) it'd be perfect. But in reality, galleries with text, or a mix of text/graphics will get higher CTR and conversions than graphic intensive pages like that. If he could mix some actual text in there, instead of the graphical text, itd be great.

lighter version - shaved 60kb off and increased the CTR

In reality, its not splitting hairs dude...not only could that text make the difference of a spot or two in SE ranking, it could be a pain in the ass to modify or change it...no one wants to open a psd to change some text. Use some background images, allow for some stretch and squash...Insert Value Here.Comment

Yeah I know. I use different styles, sometimes very light on bandwidth with many editable regions and sometimes I just incorporate everything. So usually several versions of a template come up.
The template was designed with editable center region so anyone could've just removed the center image as I did and replaced it with text, like I did

I mean the template is 110 kb...
1 full size picture (to which a thumb opens) is usually 50kb,
so the whole template costs you like 2 big pictures in bandwith.Comment

then maybe your server is alittle bogged which happens to everyone. But seriously take some of the advice stated up there. If you are going to put alot of text, then do it in html. I guarentee that if a horny fucker has time to read it, he could give a shit that it's all nice and pretty with a cute drop shadow... I couldnt agree with you more but people want the pretty ones after awhile you get tried of trying to explain things and just start taking their money to make them happy *shrugs* ive even tested this out on several sponsors and even my own paysite on my own paysite coudlnt convert shit with a pretty gallery but when i go back and plain text and html it converted *shrugs*Originally posted by Battuss

Too much graphical text that is unreadable. Consider using IMPACT font or worse case use comic sans ms bold.
the inner shaddow on the white text down bellow is hard to read, consider using black 100 percent opacity strokes. You want this shit to stand out like a montherfucker. The blowjob graphic is nice... but too big, it is stealing focus from what sells. A simple 150 pixel high header would do nicely with a girl sucking a fat cum pipe.

That page looks all right but it's 150k before you've even got your thumbs in there. That's just ridiculous. Try setting a limit of 60k max. Reduce the size of that background image for starters.Comment

It's 135kb. This gallery was made as free sample for people promoting my BYOTs. As owner I know what's best for my own tours, maybe that's why the conversions today were bellow 1:100
