Second, there is no more overwhelming evidence that al qaeda was behind it than there is/was evidence of wmd's in iraq. Osama may or may not have been behind it, but you are believing what you want that he admitted it. The video tape you are probably thinking of has long been deemed as highly suspect. And there are reports that osama in fact denied involvement.
But hey, you go right ahead and believe the govt line.

Many many arabs have listened to that tape and said that roughly half of what he says cannot be understood. Experts have said the audio and video quality is so poor there is no way it can be corroborated. Now maybe it was him and he said and did everything the govt claims, i dont know. But for you to be so sure that you know is, well, amusing. Lets just believe everything bush says and all live happily forever after!

The video was repeatedly played by the media...and in my opinion the quality of the tape was quite good. Yes some of the tape was unintelligable...but most of it was not and the part where he is talking about 9/11 was quite intelligable...but I can only take the word of the translators about what he said...as I do not speak the lanquage. By the way the media have their own translators so do not always rely upon CIA translators...so you have translations from at least two different sources.

Couple of these countries are questionable but thanks for the info. This the first time anyone has come close to answering my question. Now I feel a little more informed. However I would like to see them more vocal against terrorism.
