                        I have had the same male friends for over 8 years now. In that time I have been single more times than not...I can tell you this...they DID NOT try to hit it. (not to say they didn't want to, just saying they didn't try)

                        Now...I do agree that all men wanna hit a hot chick...friend or not...and YES same is true for women with hot men...friend or not. But while in a relationship...keep that shit in check and respect the person you are with...if that's all good...no matter who hits on you...you have no desire to go anywhere.

                        It is a respect thing...they are my friends...that's it. My man has nothing to worry about...and HE knows it...that's really all that matters!

                                                I am NOT denying that they WOULD, given the opportunity...that was my point. It is about understanding that men and women, when given the opportunity to be with someone that they are attracted to will hit it in a second...so,again, it comes down to respect. Respect for your relationship and respect for your friendship.

                                                If I want to keep my male friends while I am in a relationship, and I want my man to be comfortable around my friends, then I am the one responsible for keeping the respect in check, no one else! You simply dont make yourself accessible.

                                                Is it possible to be friends with people who you KNOW want you? Sure...why not...just be realistic.

I have a lot of girl FRIENDs and would not or did not "hit it" Before, during, or After Relationships. Basically it does BOIL DOWN TO RESPECT. Respect for yourself, and for them.                                                                                                                                                 good point, but anytime i ever truly tried to be friends with a girl she'd end up having a one night stand with one of my friends and she wouldn't hang out cuz things would be akward. and honestly i'd rather hang-out with my guy friends searching for girls then with a girl searching for girls. only way it'd work is to befriend a girl that likes you by using her as social proof to get another girl
