    Publix Direct no more!!!

    I am gonna miss online grocery shopping. What a disappointment



    We regret to inform you that PublixDirect is closing.

    We are no longer accepting online orders, and Saturday, August 23 is the last day of delivery. If you have an order scheduled after Saturday, August 23, we will not be able to deliver that order. We apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough volume to keep operating. We greatly appreciate your business and hope that you will continue to shop with Publix in your local store.

      Too bad I was just thinking of trying it out. But they didn't promote it much either. We shop almost exclusively at Publix and I haven't seen them advertise the service in the stores

                          Totally sucks, Publix Direct is the lifesaver for a stay home Mom and her infant kids. Packing to go to the store is like going on safari.

                                  Albertsons and Vons have both had online shopping and delivery for the last year. Same prices as in the stores, you pay $10 for delivery.

                                              They already deliver in California. Have been thinking about trying Vons deliveries, but not sure, I love going to the grocery store...
