omg, whos gonna post the "welcome to TWO days ago" pic?
oh man, what a classic!
SIG TOO SMALL! Maximum 1200x600 button and no more than 30 text lines of ALL SIZES and COLORS. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 6240x4800 instead of a 1024x800.
Hardly unless you think that MS can somehow send out these patchs to how many millions of systems all in one day. ;-) Even Win98 is getting patches and updates.

i wasnt really that present during the past two days at GFY. too many bizz to handle. i was with my G4 during my conference, caught unaware about the release.
not that worried coz all of my 150 PC's automatically get's updated. it took them just today to complete pactch all my machines, most probably of the traffic from microsoft page.
i still got those Win98SE machines but its been a while since i turned them on. I thought MS stopped creating updates for these old OS?

Several months back MS finally took 'notice' that there is a HUGE number of systems in the World still running 98. For reasons such as companies can't afford the newer hardware, or they can't afford to pay licensing fees etc etc etc. It mentioned quite a few reasons in the article.
Since the Feds were on them about things still, they decided it was in their best interest to restart their issuances of critical patches for 98 up to a certain date (I forget the exact date but its about a year or maybe more from now).
The system I'm on at the moment is 98 and it popped up a critical patch w i n d o w Tuesday evening. Soooo turn on your 98's and get 'em while they're hot!
