I read the whole thing just now. Not a die hard fan of Michael Moore or BFC but this page is pretty much just a lot of whining. You could do this kind of stuff about anything; the news tonight, did we land on the moon?, Is paul dead? bla bla bla. If you nitpick anything you will find some flaws that work to your advantage and so I bet the other documentaries nominated could also be torn apart from one point of view or another. This page's facts didn't really change my experience of BFC.Comment

I dont know if Michael Moores film is real or not but reading something off a website wouldnt be proof to me just because its written doesnt mean its correct. Also if he was making all these falsehoods why arent the people and companies he portrayed wrongly suing him? They sue now over posting on forums ,they wouldnt sue over a major motion picture ? I live in Hollywood man, I see jokes like Moore put out shit films all year long.
This guy is a PRODUCT of Hollywood, nothing more.
100 more just like him just got off a bus with their script in hand headed for the major studios

First off Michael is a older man his first film came out in 1989, So he is not some kid watching MTV, point 2 it $250,000 to make it and it took three years because he had to keep getting money up to finish. He didnt come from a rich family. Also living in hollywood doesnt make you an authority on the movie business any more than living on wall street would make someone a financial wiz lol. This was a guy who followed his dream and became sucessful, he isnt one of the beautiful people and he made it on his terms. Good for him.Comment

just because someone puts up a webpage doesn't mean anything, true or false, about their claims. basically it means that they or someone they know can type and ftp.
anyone who makes a documentary is hoping to make money with it. that doesn't invalidate - or validate - their message. fuck, national geographic makes MILLIONS from documentaries. but they're still very informative.
