I want that dish installed and need a professionnal installation.

Strange question, but it was discussed recently and I might buy a direct tv system (already own expressvu)

Its pretty easy to do yourself if you have a compass. There's prb. ads in the yellow pages for Satellite installers for other systems, not sure, but I'd bet one of them would be willing to do the hookup for DirecTV.

I've hooked up like 5 systems back in the day, prb. took 30 minutes the first time, and like 5 mintues each time after that.

You are looking for trouble....
Easy to install yourself:

- Buy a " boussole " ( what is the term in english?)
- check to see if you have clear view of the satellite ( over Texas - the book gives the exact location in latitude / longitude)
- Install, level and fix the dish, run your wires, watch TV if you have a good bin...

I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....

Yeah, Well, I don't want to get on the roof to install the dish, it's too fucking high and I'd have to drill for the wires, I don't have any equipment.. Urgh.. Well.. I guess I'll send a couple of e-mails to installers in the region and ask..

Installers will rape you....I'am a complete idiot and I've installed my dish like 4 times and even for friends.. It is really easy, the hardest part is just finding a strong signal.

It doesn't have to be on the roof. It can be on a wall aiming to the satellite. I even see some installed at the first level on balconies... Get a friend that is a handyman; technical is very easy.

Pipecrew is right, and I wouldn't want to have my data in an installer database ... you could eventually have a "visit"....
