There is not much that can be done. They are at the mercy of the datacenter. You must understand, XXXWebhosting pays GOOD money to be housed in that datacenter, and relies heavy on the DC's promise of full generator backup. The generators failed it seems, not their fault.

Phil & company of at XXX Webhosting are ready to get things back online as soon as power is restored. They are shitting their pants just as much as you are I assume!

I'm happy with XXX Webhosting but this does suck. A number of other sites are down as well. I just tried to access a large Credit Card processing company and I can't seem to find them. I'm assuming it's the same issue. I hope.

My site has been very successful, because I pride myself on customer service. I care very much, that I will have to console my members from their frustration on not being able to log in. So email is a very important aspect of running a site.
