We have two sites which appear to have been down since Saturday morning. Our hit counter shows that some people CAN access our sites, but only about one third. We're hosted with sintelligent.com and that site appears to be down too from here. I'm assuming a router is out between the UK and Sintelligent

Damn that's fucked up all these sites down over a power outage.
My shit is in a datacenter in Jersey that was completely out of power during the blackout a week or two ago, and my sites were humming along just fine.
The whole datacenter ran on the generators for over 24 hours.sig too bigComment

Like I said I have been with them since 99 and would never think of going anywhere else.
ICQ Tech support at 3am every day and they are actually nice to you when you ask them for help

Well, i just moved from RackSale after 8 days of server down!
They did reply my messages after 6 days!!! and it took 7 days to have the server back online..!
I lost all my traffic, sales etc etc..
Moved to a new host but they seem to be down now as well..

Apparently the colo exchange in san francisco has had a major power problem.
The generators kicked in for about 10 minutes but suddenly failed !
I expect some fucker forgot to fill the generators up with gas

all hosts within exchange colo in SF (epaul2000) is down. Their power generators are screwed up, and so is their backup power somehow. You cant even call up the DC now, as their telephone is running needs power as well.ICQ: 4646141Comment

Everything is down...power is out at the ENTIRE building at the ColoExchange in SanFrancisco. The power dropped out to the building and all the emergency generator kicked on for a few minutes and then the generator stopped. There are like 100 people standing in the parking lot here and they won't let us back into the building until the power is restored. There is obviously not anything we can do...but we are here whenever power is restored.

Unfortunately, RackSale's servers are also affected by the power outage in Exchange Colo. All RackSale customers (who haven't already done so) can contact me (Paul), on ICQ: 19678140 and I will try and provide updated information as it arrives to me. I appreciate our clients' patience in this matter, and we will work on restoring all services the second we are allowed physical access to the facility.
Update: PG&E has restored power to the datacenter and once the datacenter's systems are restored, all the service providers(hosting companies) will be back online.
