    germany says ok to domainnames with umlaut

    before the end of the year you can register domain names with the umlaut as they use in germany, maybe austria and switzerland too it said on todays dutch newpaper.

    Any other countries you know of with that possibility, since have dailup services in scandinavian countries too maybe its time to get some new domain names registered... thanks

          Not only Umlaute. The new idn standard allows URL´s in chinese, arabic.... so as far as i know any national character set should work.
