Those fighting a much larger army long ago worked out that having unrelated, and therefore, unorganised 'cells' was a better way to fight. That is due to improved strategy, not any implication of size or effectiveness. I agree tho, it's going to take the Iraqis a few months to really learn how to kill occupying army members effectively, and hence *seem* more organised.Originally posted by theking
I am satisfied that some Iraqi people are egaging in resistance...those of the Baath Party...those that had some loyalty to Saddam...those religious leaders that would prefer a fundalmentalist government...probably some infiltrators from outside of Iraq...as well as some that are just plain pissed.
I do not agree that their is any organized "guerrilla" resistance...though some have called it "guerilla" type resistance.
