Bestat gave me this one for $60, PSD files, the thing was HUGE... done to my exact specifications...
So I don't think $10 less and letting the designer have creative control (ie, no picky rules) is asking too much.

It's cute, he looks more like a seattle grunge guy than a geek though.

Keep in mind you guys are wanting as much money for a simple logo as many people charge for an entire splash page or long-style tour.
If you don't want $50 for a half hour or an hour of work, that's okay by me.

Carrie : peeps charge what they do for a logo cuz it's worth much more than a site design. If you knew anything about identity/corporate branding you'd realize that. Kinda like when you pay some whore jackshit for a photo shoot and the content gets used a billion times in multiple media. You're not paying for the time it takes your paying for someones skilled expertise and profession.
