Yeah i worked on the shaving script they used for one of the big sponsors, and it was a work of art. I know 99% of per signup sponsors shave pretty hard, but I from what i knew of the flashcash guys, I never really thought they did. they are always so up front about the fact they dont, and even signed up to be tested by that audit guy.Originally posted by integrated

Because i did it before and (almost) everybody where against me. Big sponsors here, big names.. they all ask for proves that they shave, but never make us realy belive they don't..

I logged to one of my sponsor accounts yesterday and saw:
Revenue: $3,315.90
There must had been an error.
Then i logged again and it was back to normal - $30 revenue

We do not shave, and having sent a lot of traffic to FlashCash, GigaCash and PlatinumBucks, I have no reason to believe that they shave, either.
It seems to me that for a lot of webmasters, if they send traffic to a sponsor and don't get the kind of conversion ratios they believe that they should, then that constitutes "proof" of shaving. Ask 100 webmasters on the same program what sort of conversion ratios they experience with a given sponsor, and you will likely get 100 different answers; conversion ratios are a complicated beast, and have every bit as much to do with the type of traffic being sent as the sites it is being sent to. Just because your conversions are poor, or fluctuate within a wide range does not mean that there is shaving going on.

Whoa there tiger...first of all the "guy" that was going to audit them is a company...we're called the PornPosse on the adult side and I-Bridge International on the mainstream side. We do many things...we process over 100,000 ACH checks per month for some of the largest processors in the business, we run TheAdult COOP (www.theadultcoop.com) which is a collective purchasing engine for webmasters that is launching as a partnership with YNOT as we speak, and we handle back-office tasks for Sponsor programs. We began with Flashcash because we knew them and they've always had a reputation of honesty...and we asked them to prove it. We have integrated with PornKings and currently audit them. SoCal Coeds is probably next...so big props to Andreas...and we're in dicussions with 5-10 more programs who we hope to have rolled out by the IG.
When we get them to plug in our API to their back-end...anyone who joins our system (it's free) is virtually guaranteed not to get shaved. Does that mean they don't shave elsewhere? No.....but they don't shave us, nor anyone who is in our system. Don't believe us? We have built a re-director that you can send a small stream of traffic through and we'll audit that...so your traffic, your audit, your date/time....
Random auditing is the only way to bring legitimacy to this space...
