Noob question - what does PR stand for and whats the difference in the numbers, guessing it has something to do ranking, perhaps its page rank?Signature is for sale!

Are these listings you put up getting re-registered instantly when you post? Every day I have checked your listings as soon as you post and they are all shown as unavailable.
Or is there some trick to snagging the recently expired domains. Like whois doesn't know they are available yet?

Seriously, wsjb78, WHY do you keep doing this?
Why in the hell anyone would wanna give out info for FREE and create COMPETITION is way beyond me.
Does giving it out make you feel better? The tooth fairy gives you money for it? Please explain it to me, cuz I am at a loss here.Comment

Read here if you want to have some good information about that.

pr = page rank - the way google values a single page (webdocument not website)Originally posted by lanclandesigns
oh so that means page rank, like if you type in something its on the 7th page or some shit?
its going from 0-10 and actually is like a voting for a page:
the more page link to another page the higher the pagerank of the receiving page becomes
the measure is quality and quantity: if a page with high pr links to you then more likely your page will receive a high ranking as well.
2Xpr2 is not pr4
think of pr like (this is not really what the numbers look like only google knows):
pr 1 = 1
pr 2 = 10 (links to you)
pr3 = 100
pr4 = 1000
pr5 = 10000
pr6 = 100000
...
now you know no one wanted to talk about this, but since it is not working anymore....Signature Spot - USD 5000 / monthComment

2. maybe he is gonna build up a webmaster resource site which can generate a very good revenue if done right
3. he does not play that domain game very much i think, he is pretty busy in private tgp2 networks and sends a lot of traffic to ppc ses (sort of what ultsearch is doing)
4. he does not want domains with pr - he wants domains with a lot of traffic
so keep the guys looking for fake nuggets while you know where to find diamonds

Thats why I say private subscription is the way to go. hehehehe
We email our members daily a list of up to 500 domains containing keywords that they enter into a form for our system to track.
Pretty kewl, very targeted, and private!

I'm just on "holidays" right now and don't want to change automated process... once I get back I will give out precompiled listgs but those won't be as accurate as the ones now published. Even the current daily list cannot guarantee 100% deleting of those domains on that day... the previous owner may have re-bought it and whois registries may not have updated...Originally posted by swami
80% of the domains that wsjb78 gives us are already gone by the time he gives us the list.The other 20% are no good.
Now if wsjb78 would give us the list the day before they were dropping then that would give us a chance to get a good one
I see your point in getting the domains earlier but I thought I'd rather give out a 98% accurat list of domains being deleted on that day!Comment

OKAY YOU GOD DAMN MORONS.
DONT BUY A FUCKING DOMAIN WITH PAGERANK IF ITS EXPIRED, it will lose ALL PR in the next update...ok!?
so fucking stupid

All those domains I post are being dropped on that day... some domains are sought after because of PR... others because of the name... it's a tough battle, played it for a while but no longer anymore... that's why I have no further use for such lists anymore and the list is just a by product of my current projects....Comment

u are a real dumbass, aren't you? that site gets almost 1000 visitors daily looking for domains but there are not even as many domains available. i think the first who hits the list copy&pastes the enire list and does a bulk registration and they are goneOriginally posted by XM
The point of most reactions is you are opening threads with title "Available PR domains" but they are not available so by posting this daily you're losing credibility fast. That's all.
XM
try the other day....

now, one thing more to think:
why are exactly those people WHO KNOW WHERE TO FIND THOSE DOMAINS trying to either sell or give out for free this information??
i can tell you all the hype about pr domains: ok now it is out. its conspiracy trying to make newbies buying expired domains, spending time for finding them,.... so they cannot buy galleries anymore, so the porn market is locked for them
some webmaster even think they have to buy expired domains in order to make money
have you seen the serps 8 months ago? 1. for free porn was some spam on a mainstream pr domain, 1. for nude girls was such a domain also...
why do you need to ask people if exp. domains work? go and do some searches and you will not find such domains in google any longer

I'd have to agree that posting this list everyday is rather pointless, unless you've had a life long desire to threaten KingK7, Dildozer, et al by faking punches.
If you were actually making money off the page you'd be Smart.
As is you look like another one of the many gfy attention whores
with too much downtime.Last edited by fnet; 08-22-2003, 09:26 AM.the sound of one hand googlewhackingComment
