Not a flattering pic of this girl - bad expression (should have been edited out) and yellow lighting (not color balanced correctly) and.....no light in the girls eyes (which makes her eyes look dead and also causes bags under her eyes).
*HINT* - When you are shooting a girl standing up and you have the lights set up for her height, be sure to lower the lights when she squats or lowers herself to the floor. That will keep light in her eyes and will ensure total body coverage of the light.
A little *sparkle* in the eyes (which is a reflection of your lighting in the models eyes - pros call this a "catch-light") will really make a difference in the look of the girl! This little technique that I showed to Joe @ Amacontent has really made a difference in his pics -

This was also the last shot of the day and we did the set up really quick...no light check and stuff.
Im not into studio photography anyway, i prefer to shoot outside.Comment

Here's what I'll never understand about photographers.....if you want people to respond positively to your work, tell you how great you are and REALLY compliment your skills and expertise, why not take a few extra minutes to post something that you can be proud of?Originally posted by Battuss

From the looks of the other pics...you do have skills - use them! Pick out the best shot, clean it up a little and I guarantee you, you'll get more positive feedback from your work and you'll garner more respect for your skills. That's why you posted those pics in the first place right?
