Who else got fucked over by PlatinumBucks.com?

it looks like it was your fault and now just want them to give your money back.

So you did a mailer for them and something about that mailer was misconfigured and you got complaints. By your explanation, you seem to state that the problem was on your end in that the mailer was not setup correctly. I don't see how PB fucked you as you claim they have, it seems the error was on your part.

They got paid and we should have been paid as well. They didn't give the money back to the customers, did they? Furthermore, they knew we were mailing for them and they knew that the email program was misconfigured but they still didn't pay us.

That's NO EXCUSE to screw someone over like they did to us. Like I said, they can all burn in hell....

Let me try to rephrase it and make it a bit clearer.

We mailed and promoted PlatinumBucks.com programs and they were well aware of this. We did over $3500.00 in conversions in a few days and they owed us $1500 (rounded up) for our commission or payout.

They received complaints from some ISP (not theirs) that the return emails were wrong and caused a problem at that ISP (not Platinum Bucks ISP). I told Platinum Tony that this could have been possible since this was a new mailer that we were using and he understood.

The bottom line is that we made them money and they owed us money. They used the complaints from the ISP (not their ISP) as an excuse not to pay us.

I hope this makes it a bit clearer.

From what you wrote here, it seems to me you sent out some mailers, it generated some heat from a third party ISP (spam complaints?), and you made about $1500 in signups. Then Platinum Bucks did not pay you and from the impression I get here, you were probably terminated for spamming. In this case, you forfeit the signups you made and Platinum Bucks certainly gets to keep the money they charged from surfers. Seems to me you were terminated from their program for spam.

Either way, it's probably best you contact Albert or Tony in private since complaining about it here won't accomplish much.

We mailed FOR them, they knew the mailing was to promote THEIR program and no ones elses. They didn't pay us to mail for them, we both agreed that we would promote their programs through mailing and we'd get $40 per join.

The pondscum screwed me and others I hear (just got a bunch of emails and ICQ's telling me they got fucked by PlatiumBucks.com as well). My advise to you, the reader, is to STAY FAR AWAY FROM PLATINUM BUCKS.COM. Although they have "Platinum" in their name and alot of bling-bling on their website, they are crooks and they don't pay, period. If you're promoting their programs, STOP. If they're on your website take them off. Bottom line, if you get fucked by them it's your own fault because you've been warned.

Go see any attorney. Even if you violated the terms they are not entitled to be unjustly enriched on your efforts and expenses.

PlatinumBucks (Tony and his crew) knew that we were mass mailing for them. It's not like they didn't know, we spoke in depth about this beforehand and tried to line them up with bullet proof hosting with a company that we were using.

They condone SPAM although they say they don't. I have ICQ conversations with Platinum Tony to prove it but I won't put that up here. And as for talking to those guys, talking to Tony is like talking to the back of a donkey's ass. It makes no sense and it wreaks like shit.

Anyway, if the mailing was pre-approved and you got the shaft because of extra "heat", that really blows. With spam, you have to know that there will be heat. Hope you get your problems solved...

I can understand your point. We have had similiar problems
with other sponsors related to 'spam' or bulk mailing.

We allow emailing if their using a 'clean' double opt
list , but we still can take some flack.

All it takes is a few emails, we don't cancel a persons account
solely for complaints but we do watch that closely.

If your looking for anyone to mail, we do pretty well.

1. Broke our terms and conditions for spam

- Sent bulk email to Platinum Bucks (WITHOUT) a remove link. We accepted it as a mistake.

- Mailed us again with another remove link and almost had our host shut us down. (ask sweet T about him from nat net)

Sorry Platinum Bucks does not accept bulk email, and if you choose to bulk email us your account will be terminated without pay.

We sent to the landing page on our own iron clad BP host to absord complaints.

That sucks, I've had sponsors get greedy on me too after saying they want my spam traffic.

Hope someone learned a lesson here. Without placing blame on anyone kind of shows you the importance of having an agreement completely worked out. Running a mail campaign, legit or not, will always generate some amount of complaints both parties should have clearly addressed that and determined what was acceptable. Usually you can deal with people on good faith, but if you cant get it also in writing so there is nothing to debate. Just point at the facts and you're done.

Platinum Bucks has had hundreds of mailers send traffic to us ... and yes we have had to ask many to stop mailing -- AND PAID EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!

Now ... when it comes to pure amateur spammers ... that is a different story.

This Penn E Less sent a mailer and got a bunch of heat ... oh he said I am sorry it was because I did not have a remove link ... I made a mistake. ( oh by the way forgive me if I get some any of my facts wrong .. is was many months ago that this incident took place)

So we let Penn E Less mail again ... and then the mother fucking load of spam complaints came in.

A down stream provider (aka backbone provider) told our host to shut us down. The complaints were in the HUNDREDS!!!!!!!

Because we were in the spotlight to the spam watchdogs ... we had to lay low and tell our legit mailers to cool it. We had to let the spotlight lift from us.

This amatuer fuck damaged our program .... and cost us real money.

I do not make the decision not to pay an affiliate mailer lightly ... but purely amateur irresponsible actions like his ... I stand by my decision.

And hey ... the fact that Penn E Less is bashing us months later proves how immature and petty the amateur spammer is.
