You REALLY need a better education....your grasp of history SUCKS.
The region was known as "transjordan" and it wasn't a country. It was a region of warring tribes that was being fought over by the French and the British. When the Jews started to emigrate there, they were sold the worst land around at hugely infltaed prices by the absentee landlords from other areas of the middle east. They started draining the swamps and fixing things up, and they WANTED the locals to stick around, and build with them.
But, of course, they were Jews and the Arabs couldn't live with that. The rest of the middle east persuaded the locals to leave, and they would arm them and fight with them and togther they would all "sweep the jews into the sea". Of course it didn't work. The :Palastinians" that stayed became part of Isreal and have even served in the Kennesit. The ones that left were kept in refugee camps by their arab friends, denied hospitals and schools....or even the freedom to leave. They were left there to rot and breed 3 generations of hatefull fanatics that the rest of the middle east could use against Isreal.

I think US is a little nicer to Indians than Israel's are to palestinians.
US lets Indians have own territories in US and gives special priveledges.
It looks like the palestinians are outside of Israel and a big wall is being built to keep them out.
It will be interesting to see if that big wall keeps out the people that like blowing themselves up.Comment

There is one massive load of "hatred" around - seems to come from ignorant sheep who are fed propaganda and believe it.
Both Israel and Palestine have a lot to answer for. Each has their own "cause" and fight with the "tools" available.
It is far harder to create a peace than press a button to bomb.
Another bombing today in Baghdad on the UN base resulted in several deaths, among them, the head of that mission. This person was one of the rare few in Baghdad who actually gave some hope to the Iraqi people. Kinda highlights the insanity once more.

Another highlight, Israel is planning to re-open the Temple Mount holy site to non-muslims, this will certainly add to the tension since it was Ariel Sharon's visit her a few years ago that sparked alot of this madness again.
