Yes if you can build a site and take the time to market it around the boards you will make a lot more money than shooting custom. You end up with a lot of clients who know your content, quality, style and format works. They are then committed to buying from you to keep their membership happy, a good site can not chop and change styles every week.

It just means you have to wait for the money and if cash flow is poor then you have a problem.

But think of how many times a set sells over a year or two and then look at what they offer for custom shoots. Laughable.

My stuff is not so great, but I think my marketing has worked.
