Thanks for the nice words. Now if I can just get a real legal job, I'll be set. The Portland metro job market kinda sucks right now. I can always hang out a shingle and do bankruptcies - they seem to be all the rage these days.

In the U.S., you generally have to have a 4-year college degree, decent grades and score well on the LSAT (law school admissions test). If you get in, law school is typically 3 years full-time. I took 4 because of work. Then you have to pass the your state's bar exam, which is only held twice a year.
