It is a good chance to forget political and religeous differences at least for a while.

It is fucked up, Indonesia is kicking out troops on the premise that they cannot guarantee security because of rebel forces.

Truth is they would rather let their own people die than being seen as weak by having "The Great Satan" and her allies wandering around their country rebuilding it, making fresh water and bringing food in.

They also don't want any outsiders to see the atrocities they commit on anyone who disagrees with their dictatorship, hence why Banda Aceh has been closed to Foreigners up until now and will be again shortly.
