NY"ers are the most misunderstood people in the world the worst would help a little old lady in a blackout. There are bad apples everywhere but they help there own and for the most part are very righteous when it comes to personal spaces or freedoms they may step over bums but when a real person needs help there is always someone to help.

Remember 9 11 all the streets lined with people cheering the firemen the streets. Sure there will be stealing and a lot of bullshit but the good deeds will outway the bad by ten to one!

Just its more interesting to hear about the bad is all,
that's why we have Court TV and not the Good Samaritan Channel

manhattan will be fine but other boroughs MIGHT have looting and shit.. not sure though, i heard every NYPD officer was called ON DUTY.

I am origianlly from NY, and I have to agree with all u say. I am so sick of everyone putting down NY, u know?! NY actually has a lot of caring people. I can also tell u that u can literally stand on one block of NYC and u will see just about every nationality on earth pass by u within a few hours! Where else can u get that? NY has some of the best universities, nicest people, and places are opne in the middle of the night!
Thats why NEW YORK is the world capital.
Talk all u want people, there is nothing like NY and it's wonderful people. Everywhere u go there will be nice, mean, pretty, ugly, stupid, smart people!
