Hey guys..... thanks for the entries. So far, I think the only remotely interesting ones are:
(1) One of the bottom ones in the collection of "JustFuckedMyself" with the PG and the line around it.
(2) Second one of persius collection with the red to beige fading.
These are the closest to stated aims but still "very much" short of the mark and I personally prefer my logo - its also a calculated guess to say that so would my client (although im going to show them all entries anyway).
As for other entries, Ive got to say though that the twirly handwriting, girl in a circle, the girl replacing a letter, lipstick, showing woman or woman loving a man, interlocking letters, cocktail and some of the fonts are just too common place, corny logo styles and not quite what we're looking for though I appreciate you putting the logo into the background of the original and the site frame to help us visualise.
This is not a site for cheap women you can pick up at your local K-mart (in the UK we might say Sainsburys).
Remember guys, this logo must be superlative. It must be a memorable signature kind of a logo whilst making the viewer remember the name and web addy, so that when its on a banner it will be instantly recognisable. This thing should make a lasting impression and exude style - its got to be the logo I want to die on!
These are NOT compulsory and are *just* some ideas for you:
(1) Use of subtle faded textures.
(2) Use of sophisticated original symbol.
(3) Use of curves which remind the viewer of a woman (without showing one).
(4) Use of some kind of "Eyes Wide Shut" mask incorporated into logo.
(5) Use of some kind of gloss/textures denoting quality.
(6) Use of subtle inference to aristocracy and high society.
(7) Use of subtle reference to a London landmark such as london bridge.
As I said, these are just some ideas and may not be ideal but I hope this will be some more useful feedback for you - food for thoughts. Come on guys.
This is your time to shine ..... make it happen!
