Did a ton of it in Prague one night.
1) Make sure you mix it and light it on fire, otherwise, it taste horrid. I did that. Yuck.
2) It makes you feel a good high. Well worth it. You are very happy.
3) Forget sex. You can't perform.

Absinth was a drink long ago very popular and also very poisonous. The colour used to be green and was derived from a copper based additive whiich actually contained the poisonous substance that gave absinth its reputation for which it became a banned substance. Pastis is the current day alternative with the largest market share but none of the "modern" versions contain the substance that made it so lethal. I have had it lots of times. It just feels like a strong shot. If you light it on fire and melt a sugar cube over it you get the best taste. I never seen any blue fairies but I did have a really good time.

I drank it in this bar in Denmark years ago. Kind of a dizzy hallucenigenic drunk, not sure if I liked the buss or not. The bar that had it apprentnly was the only place in Denmark you could get it - it was called Kruts Karport or something like that.
