    Does XP lag for you?

Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me? For example, I'll click on a .wmv file that's on my PC and it takes 1-2 minutes to view the clip. Anybody experience the same thing? Any fixes to this?

    Thanks!!

yeah, the newer machines tend to have more useless crap
          on them.

I did defrag last night, same problem this morning after I rebooted. Guess I will get rid of the shit that I don't need.

                Thanks!

I've got the same problem, RAID 1+0 and I defragment regularly. Pretty clean W2k installation. Any solutions?

Hmm, with 512Mb? Upgrading to 1024Mb won't solve the problem.

Check your Event Viewer and see if there is an application error or something...

512 is more then enough, XP needs a bare min of 128 to run, and even at that its slow as shit.
