    krispy kreme doughnuts opens in Calgary, 2 hour wait!

    i cant belive this, a krispy kreme has opened here only 2 days ago and there was a 2 hour wait, the cops even set up barries because of the massive line. ive had the doughnuts plenty times in the states and i gotta say they are dam good. but to wait 2 hours!? thats crazy. my g/f is going to get some right now mmmm krispy kreme.

                  They just opened one in Surrey, about 45 minutes away from Vancouver....from what I have heard in the first few weeks there was a 2 hour wait for donuts and the last few weeks there has been a 1 hour wait!

                                              Talk about hype! Yes, they make tasty doughnuts. But that's it. Their donuts aren't *that* much better than fresh doughnuts made by any decent doughnut shop. It's only when the hype makes their doughnuts out to be more incredible than an orgasm that people expect them to be that great. And hey, who doesn't want to pay a buck for something better than an orgasm?
                                              It's nothing more than a tasty doughnut combined with a self-sustaining myth.

                                                  just like when i was in arizona they had em at all the grocery markets. i think in canada all the franchises are sold out. on the radio here they were playing remixes of songs with the word krispy kreme in it. genious marketing its all ppl have been talking about, and for what just doughnuts. but i just ate one and it brings me the memory of the first time i ate them fuck the hype, they r soooo good.

                                                          We just drive over to Kroger vetween 3-4am and the truck brings them TO us! lol If the timing is right, I usually get a free box from the driver in the lot. WHooo Hooo. Still warm from the oven too.
