Yes, a text link is ok as a recip. A lot of link lists are actually now switching to the recip structure you are speaking of to get more targeted traffic to their categories as well as improve their search engine rank.Originally posted by sake

Hand submitting does not mean he can't use a form filling automation.
Checking a submission, and pressing submit constitutes hand submission to me ...

I have been submitting free sites for a while and I always hand submit. Plus I use nothing but text links about 9 of them all in a nice table. I have found that if your site looks good you'll get listed all over no matter how your recip table looks!

Free Site Wizard is a nice tool. I'm in the process of converting the DB that I've been building in that to a DreamSubmitter DB.

AdvancedSubmitter mainly because of two characteristics
a) ability to add as many recips and to whatever direction/position you want (easy to create a table with three rows of recips)
b) ability to duplicate a link-list submission to different directories.
