    Paysite owners: Removing ACH

Have any of you removed ACH all together from your sites?
I'm getting 70%-90% of these fuckers returned and I can't stand the shit.
Will people bust out a credit card if they don't have the ACH option?
How bad did it hurt conversions ratio's?

Thats because surfers KNOW that all they have to do is make up the info and it'll go through no problem.

checks suck... we quit taking them altogether about 2 years ago and never looked back, too many people know how to fool the check systems that allow instant-access so most of the returns would be generated from accounts that never even existed in the first place, the password-trader people know about this weakness of course.

i think check systems that make surfers wait for check verification are Ok, but of course most surfers want instant gratification so thats a moot point IMO. ditch checks, and quit seeing such painful return amounts, i used to see them too and my blood would boil..

but if your running an affiliate program, dont you think not offering checks would scare away webmasters?
            sincerely,

Yeah, im sure it'll hurt conversions too. Thats why I really don't want to remove it. But, its generating negative revenue. I don't really have a choice

take a look at achdebit.com, they only work with checks

                        they also take canada checks

#1 check company in the biz

I use Probilling ACH (Directcheck that cascades to Checksmart)

The directcheck product has very few (<3%) returns (for bad bank accts that got through the system) and NO nsfs or chargebacks

This is the best system out there right now and the "everything get through" ach processors can't compete

                          P
