They have anti-american sentiment because they didnt want the US to goto iraq.. And americans, following like they always do, started bitching about france when they started reading about France's opposition to the war. If you bitched canada disgreeing with something that you did, I'd hate you too.
Do I even have to mention that France had one of the most respected and powerfull militaries at the time ww2 broke out? They were caught off guard by Germany. If canada launched a surprise attack on the US, where every able-bodied man participated in an attack that had been in planning for years, you'd bow down, too. Think about what you're saying before you talk. Learn a little history before you bitch.
