Personally, since I'm working in porn biz, I never took real vacations. The real firsts, maybe for the next Vegas meeting in january (2 weeks really off) or an august break if I'm tired (no more than 2 weeks).
And every time I have to leave the computer for few days, it's a terrible headache. I'm still checking mail, looking at my stats, reading boards... Things I can't do when I'm leaving !
I'm thinking about taking the laptop and the cell phone ( modem included ) with me, but it won't be real vacations if I begin to work during this 2 weeks.
But in a other hand, 2 weeks without a minimum maintains for the sites is risked.
So how do you do for vacations ? Do you simply move your office to the vacations place ;) or do you hire somebody to take care about your biz ?
ps: I guess it's easier if your company comprise many workers... You can leave and give your work to trust peeps easier.
