The only thing it does to me is it chooses when it will allow me to add someone. lol One minute it might let me add and I try it again 5 mins later and nothing. Grrr I still use a 2002 build too.
On the timing out on secure pages... keep your HD defragged and it won't do that. I don't know the exact corelation between the fragged drive and the secure server but it directly affects it. Might be the added time the HD takes to read itself or whatever.
If your ICQ locks you up, hit the ctrl and alt keys at the same time (several times usually) sometimes that will unfreeze it. If that doesn't work, try the full -ctrl-alt-del- and then cancel it. That will unfreeze things sometimes. Doesn't always work tho.
More than half the problems you guys whine about stems from you not doing proper maintenance on your systems. So get a mirror and whine to/cuss yourownselves.
