One of the nice things about the epassporte model is that it does not "oblige" anyone to do damned all at the insistance of card companies. (Least at this stage!!) Debit cards are not subject to the same regs as "credit cards" and if, say, VISA tried to impose "rules" on debit cards, such as Electon - they can be dumped. The principle of debit cards is.. if the client has funds, the card company pays em or fuck off. It does not involve the funds of the card companies.
BTW.. That is one of the strongest models yet for using cards for access to adult and other sites and not having card companies in control. That day may come yet :-)
Tho.. I can't see much wrong with epassporte doing internal "due diligence" on what may be described as "transparency".
I wish epassporte (or someone) would complete the stuff that was originally proposed to them - it would change this "processor trauma" damned quick :-)
