and hockey and that's all I need too..

What is so good with football and baseball?..

you definitely ain't missing much in baseball, if u didn't grow up with it it's the dullest sport on the planet.

American football is a beautiful thing - all sports except hockey are gay when compared to American football.

American football is AWESOME. Especially the cheerleaders.

Baseball sucks on TV, unless your in a fanstasy league. A REAL live game is a blast.

I'm from Europe (England) but I live in the States now - the problem with football from a European point of view is that most Europeans think it's some kind of rugby and it isn't. Once you get to understand the rules, it's a brilliant game. I've preferred it to 'soccer' for a very long time.

Baseball is pretty boring if you just watch it on TV, but it's entertaining if you attend a game

I never liked baseball. Its the slowest sport ever. Yet its popular as heck in the US. I think its cause people just like sitting in stadiums and eating those juicy hot dogs they serve.

Football is an exciting sport. I played it when I was younger in school. Its rough and tough and thats why people like it. After watching it for all these decades though its gotten kind of boring to me. Same old same old. The only time I really enjoyed was when betting was involved.

I've never been into sports that much. But I have friends that are so into it they can name all the players, coaches, team stats, and all those other pointless things. The other thing I don't get is when people read the sports pages in newspapers so religiously.

I guess I'm missing something with it all. I just like business stuff.

you can really only enjoy baseball if you play.

sitting watching a game on TV is a little boring, but there are so many teams and players, that most baseball fans simply watch ESPN and check out the awesome highlights.

just tonight there was an unassisted triple play (Rafael Furcal on the Bravels - only the 12th or 13th time in baseball history).

Its also fun with numbers, and seeing some of the guys smack the hell out of the ball.

Football is fucking great, only 16 weeks, EVERY game matters, plus its so much strategy and thinking.

Both great sports.

I'm also big soccer and hockey fans, soccer is awesome, so is hockey, I guess I love all sports

I go to a lot of Lacrosse games. That's one sport that probably isn't too big outside of the Northeast. Big here and up in Canada. Anyone in Europe even know what Lacrosse is?

Except that Alex Rodriguez is <B>not</B> the highest paid athlete, he is the highest paid baseball player. The highest paid sports figure (I forget his name) is a race car driver at over $100,000,000/year. If Blaze sees this thread maybe he can fill in the guy's name.

For whatever reason soccer is the worlds most popular sport and its gaining fast but i've never enjoyed watching it. Playing it was fun when I was a kid though.
