Great movie!
Very similar to the Lynch deathbed-fantasizing-what-could've-been style. I always enjoy those types more the second time around when I already know the ending.

well my friends who prefer brainless action flicks hated donnie darko, and those who hate brainless action flicks loved it. personally i thought it was a great movie and while i had to watch it a few times to grasp the 'concept' i thought the movie was great and definatly a nice change of pace from the usual mass marketed crap hollywood has been putting out, at least its not a sequel or a remake.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment

But to sum it up (if I remember correctly) He avoids a freak accident where he should have died and meets this girl who he is in love with? The girl dies later on in an accident being with him.
He gets sent back to the time before he avoided death and decides to basically commit suicide in order to spare the girls life that he was in love with.
Make sense? Weird movie but worth watching.Comment
